CBSE Schools Draw Roadmap ahead of Board Examinations:-

A day after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that date sheets for the class 10th and 12th board exams, schools in the state capital have prepared a roadmap on how they will go ahead with classroom teaching, practical classes, and preparatory leave Ahead of examination.

Teachers could now plan the lessons accordingly and as per the needs of students, said Poonam Kochitty, principal of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Sushant Golf City.

“There’s ample time to prepare Students are head of the board (exams),” the principal added.

“It is a welcome decision on the part of CBSE to have to postpone the board exam by 2 months. We have already commenced blended classes for class 10th since December and about 30% of children are attending the classes. The school will become fully offline from March to prepare them for the upcoming board exams,” the principal said.

At the GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow students have got into the groove to prepare rigorously for the exams.

Principal Raveen Pande said, “The date-sheets are well-balanced for both grade 10th and 12th. This three months gap before the examination begins would provide students with sufficient time to work on their writing skills to be at the optimum level. Students will be engaged with the written assignment and practice papers.”

Aradhana, a teacher from the same school, said “The student Have a reasonable time to prepare and also revise during the exam. Practical work and laboratory experiments have been necessitated to let students acquire the necessary skills and confidence for the board practical exams.”

“Getting the schedule 3 months in advance gives clear target towards which the children can move with certainty,” said Sunita Gandhi, director of City International School (CIS).

She also said, “Many more children will be able to take the exams and save an entire year.”
