Job Opening at GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow.
Due to the COVID pandemic, the summer camp could not be organised for last two years, but this year, it is back with a bang. The Summer Camp at GD Goenka Public School, Sushant Golf City, offers a structured opportunity for children to grow. This year the ‘Summer Camp’ commenced from 18 May 2022. The 12-day camp is organized with a beautiful combination of activities allowing children to become independent and self-confident, while socializing and making new friends, and even learning new skills.
Each year GD Goenka School organizes a customary 12-15 days summer camp for its students to provide them opportunities and exposure to explore their interests beyond academics and learn new skills to make the most of the lazy and long summer days, thus enhancing their knowledge and experience.
More than 200 students have enrolled for different and interesting activities, namely, Karate, Skating, Art, Instrumental, Literary Activities, Western Dance, Folk & Classical Dance, Swimming, DIY, Abacus & Vedic Maths, and Personality Development.
Students showcased their creations through an exhibition wherein, they displayed their learnings. All these activities helped children enhance their body balance and coordination improving their overall fitness.They not only made memories while having fun but they were able to face their fears, try new things, pushed their boundaries, and realized self-sufficiency. They were able to make new friends amidst a lot of laughs they learned team spirit. The students learned and enjoyed it a lot.
The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Awanish Kumar Singh, Vidhan Sabha MLC who was the Chief Guest at the event. He applauded the efforts of the school chairman Shri Sarvesh Goel for providing such a conducive and holistic learning environment and infrastructure to the students. The parents of all the participants were also present in the event.
With this thought, GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow in association with Radio City brings the ‘Summer Camp’ for this year which again would include newer set of activities, varied forms of art and learning oriented workshops which would give wings to creativity and satiate the inquisitiveness of the eager minds and add to their developing range of skills. The camp promises to hold something for everyone right from the curious young souls to the ardent adolescents and from the young graduates to parents who go by the maxim- “It’s never too late to learn”.
The summer camp at GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow is an enrichment session, which helps children to explore new ideas and cultivate new interests. This year the camp was organised from 14th to 25th May 2018. There was a gamut of activities for students and parents as well. This ten-day Summer Extravaganza culminated on 25th May with a closing ceremony.
The opening ceremony of “Summer Camp – 2017” was held at G. D. Goenka Public School, Shaheed path& Mahanagar, on 17th May 2017. The Summer Camp which is organized for 15 days has a variety of exciting and fun-filled activities like Skating, Speech, and Drama, Calligraphy, R. J. Training, Art and Craft, Self-defence, Zumba, etc. Children from various schools have enrolled themselves for this wonderful Summer Camp to have a break from their daily routine, stressful studies and enjoy the beginning of their summer vacation.
The summer camp at G. D. Goenka Public School, Sushant Golf City, that commenced on 10th May 2016, climaxed with a gala event on 20th May 2016. The ten-day camp was a great success. It was a beautiful combination of learning with fun for the children as well as their parents. Every day, the campers would enter the magnificent campus with pride, excitement, delight, and confidence. They learned molding clay into shapes of octopus, parrot, horses etc. In Art and Craft, they were trained to paint the canvas and glass.
