GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 26 January, 2026. The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chairman, Mr. Sarvesh Goel in the presence of the school Principal, Dr. Prerna Mitra, teachers, students, parents and staff members.

GD Goenka Public School celebrated Basant Panchami and Republic Day together on 23rd January 2026, creating a vibrant atmosphere of joy, patriotism, and cultural spirit. The campus was adorned with yellow flowers and tricolour decorations, reflecting the themes of knowledge, spring, and national pride.

An exciting Day & Night Adventure Camp was successfully conducted at GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow, on Saturday, 24th January, for students of Classes Nursery to VIII. The camp was organized in collaboration with Victory Adventure Camp with the aim of providing students a joyful learning experience beyond academics.

GD Goenka Public School conducted an informative Masterclass Series on Thinking in Systems on 20th Jaunary 2026 for students of Classes XI. The session, focused on engaging students in conversations that go beyond subjects and exams.

Army Day is celebrated annually on 15th January to commemorate Lieutenant General K. M. Cariappa assuming office as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army. The day serves as a solemn reminder of the unwavering courage, resilience, and dedication of the brave soldiers who safeguard the nation.

GD Goenka Public School organised VIGAM, the farewell ceremony for the outgoing Class XII batch, on 9 January 2026, hosted by the students of Grade XI. The event opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chairman Mr Sarvesh Goel, Director Ms Lalita Goel, Principal Dr Prerna Mitra, Director Ms Neha Goel GDGPS Mahanagar and Chief Coordinating Officer Ms Nandini Goel.

A Blessing Ceremony for the students of Class XII was solemnly organized by GD Goenka Public School on 06 January 2026 in the school auditorium to seek divine guidance and blessings for the students appearing in the forthcoming board examinations.

GD Goenka Public School celebrated Christmas and New Year on 24 December 2025 in a joyful and festive atmosphere. The campus was beautifully decorated with lights, ornaments, and Christmas trees, creating a warm and cheerful ambience.

A Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign was successfully conducted at GD Goenka Public School by FOJ (Flames of Justice), a student-led initiative working with the motto “Girl Up” on Tuesday, 23 December, 2025. FOJ regularly conducts small yet impactful campaigns to create awareness about important social issues. The objective was to educate the support staff about breast cancer, its symptoms and preventive measures.
