Thanksgiving Day and Toy Donation Drive
Students from Pre Primary to Grade 2 celebrated Thanksgiving through activities designed to build gratitude, empathy, and social awareness. Children created handprint cards, thank you crowns, gratitude journals, and a gratitude tree to appreciate people who support them daily. A Toy Donation Drive and heartfelt gestures like gifting chocolates to school helpers reinforced the value of giving. The celebration blended creativity, reflection, and community service, offering a meaningful and memorable learning experience.

Stationery Donation Drive
Students from Classes VI to XII led a month-long stationery donation campaign that encouraged responsibility, teamwork, and compassion. They collected new and gently used notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essentials, packed them into individual kits, and distributed them to local schools and orphanages. The drive strengthened community bonds, inspired generosity, and showcased the impact of collective effort, motivating plans for more such initiatives in the future.

‘Plant a Tree - Give a New Lease to Life’
GD Goenka Public School Lucknow conducted a plantation drive at Goel World, Sushant Golf City, led by Chairman Shri Sarvesh Goel and graced by DFO Mr. Ravi Kumar Singh. Students from Classes 6 to 8 planted saplings and learned essential planting techniques. The activity strengthened environmental awareness, encouraged responsibility, and inspired students to contribute meaningfully to a greener and more sustainable future.

Sanitary Napkin Donation Drive
GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow, conducted a sanitary napkin donation and awareness drive through the Flames of Justice Club in collaboration with NGO Inayat. On 11 April 2022, students distributed sanitary pads to over 200 girls and women in Radhikapur village and explained the importance of hygiene, health care, and safe disposal. Principal Dr Prerna Mitra, Mrs Lalita Goel, and teachers joined the initiative, which left students encouraged and proud of their meaningful contribution.

Educational Trip To 'Jyoti Kiran' Home
GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow emphasizes holistic growth rooted in empathy and social responsibility. Students of Grades VI and VII visited Jyoti Kiran, a home for destitute and special children, where they interacted with the residents, appreciated their crafts, and distributed chocolate packs for Children’s Day. The visit encouraged understanding and compassion. The school also supports heritage walks, runs a free homeopathy clinic, organizes medical camps, and regularly aids a government primary school through academic and infrastructural support.
