BREAST CANCER AWARENESS SESSION FOR SUPPORT STAFF CONDUCTED AT GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL LUCKNOW
A Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign was successfully conducted at GD Goenka Public School by FOJ (Flames of Justice), a student-led initiative working with the motto “Girl Up” on Tuesday, 23 December, 2025. FOJ regularly conducts small yet impactful campaigns to create awareness about important social issues. The objective was to educate the support staff about breast cancer, its symptoms and preventive measures. Around 58 female support staff members attended the awareness session.
A team of three gynecologists from Astha Hospital were invited, who provided a brief and informative session on identifying early symptoms and taking necessary precautions. Informative pamphlets were distributed for better understanding. To enhance participation, pink ribbons were tied on the support staff and a fingerprint activity was conducted, where the fingerprints were arranged into a heart on a canvas symbolizing care and awareness.
The campaign concluded with the distribution of goodie bags. Overall, the campaign proved to be successful, and the support staff were happy and appreciative of the initiative.
