Christmas and New Year Celebration held at GD Goenka Public School Lucknow
GD Goenka Public School celebrated Christmas and New Year on 24 December 2025 in a joyful and festive atmosphere. The campus was beautifully decorated with lights, ornaments, and Christmas trees, creating a warm and cheerful ambience. The presence of Santa Claus and the melodious carols added to the excitement, making the celebration truly memorable.
The programme began with an introduction highlighting the values of love, kindness, and togetherness. A lively dance performance by the children was a major highlight. Santa Claus distributed toffees, and students shared cakes and sweets, spreading happiness all around. Children also enjoyed creative craft activities and took home their handmade souvenirs. The event was graced by the Principal Dr Prerna Mitra, Director Ms Lalita Goel, and CCO Ms Nandini Goel.
A storytelling session by teachers, using colourful props, conveyed the message of sharing and compassion, followed by cheerful carol singing. Students also contributed by making decorations for the Indoor Plaza. As a special activity, children decorated Christmas socks on 23 December, which were later filled with candies by teachers and given as takeaways on 24 December.
The celebration concluded with an energetic Jingle Bells performance, leaving everyone with joyful hearts and fond festive memories.
