The celebration began in each classroom with a joyful poem recitation on saving the Earth, followed by an interactive video session showcasing simple ways to care for our environment—such as saving water, planting trees, and reducing waste. These multimedia tools captured the students’ attention and helped them connect with the message in a fun and meaningful way.
Each grade then took part in a unique, age-appropriate activity:
- Toddlers & Nursery created “Leafy Handprints”, using green and brown paint to make beautiful trees with their handprints, fostering early nature awareness.
- LKG students made creative “Earth Headgear” to understand the shape of our planet through art.
- UKG learners crafted “Recycled Bird Feeders” using old plastic bottles, promoting the idea of recycling and care for animals.
- Grade 1 students engaged in a “Germination Activity”, planting seeds in soil to observe the process of plant growth first-hand.
- Grade 2 students took part in a “Clean-Up Drive & Composting Activity”, collecting dry leaves from the school premises and learning how composting helps the environment.
All students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated in the activities. Teachers guided them throughout, helping them understand the significance of every action in protecting our planet.
