Goenkan Celebrate Gandhi Jayanti:
Many class activities were also organised wherein Pre Nursery students coloured a worksheet of Charka. Nursery children made a charkha with ice cream sticks and students of Kindergarten made crafts depicting the three symbolic monkeys. Class I made a pen holder, and Class II made a picture of Gandhiji and wrote their favourite quote. Children were shown short videos on the life of Gandhiji and then discussed the philosophy of non violence and the virtues cleanliness, compassion and cooperation. The day ended with everyone singing ‘Raghu Pati Ragav Raja Ram’ which is the most popular bhajan of Mahatma Gandhi.
