GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL CELEBRATED “INTERNATIONAL CHOCOLATE DAY”:-

International Chocolate Day is observed and celebrated every year on 7 July across the world it was the day when chocolate was introduced to Europe in the year 1550. Chocolate is loved by everyone across the world. Chocolates are the symbol of love & sweetness. Chocolates can make anyone’s day better and no one needs a reason to binge eat this sumptuous dessert. Chocolates are not just delicious but are packed with many health benefits too. World Chocolate Day celebrates delightful, healthy, and irreplaceable treats.

To spread the message of love among the students, teachers of GD Goenka Public School organised an online Chocolate Day celebration, which had added some excitement to children’s daily life, as they are stuck in their homes in this tuff time. The little Goenkans celebrated Chocolate Day on July 7th, 2021, in a scrumptious way during the online class.

Through stories, the tiny tots learned that chocolates are made of milk, cocoa powder, and sugar, they were also taught about the health benefits of eating chocolates but in moderation, as excess can cause tooth decay. Children shared chocolate with their house help or family members and also enjoyed them during the online class. They made ‘Choco fruits’ by dipping fruits and dry fruits in chocolate syrup. The activity was enjoyed by all the students.
