International Peace Day Celebration:

Recently International Peace Day Celebration at G.D Goenka Public School, Lucknow. There were many kinds of activities fun-filled by the little Goenkan. A peace song was played in all classrooms. Children were motivated to shake a hand, help each other, dance and have fun together. Many Kinds of activities was held for all class.

The global community is celebrating the International Day of Peace today.  The day is observed on 21 September every year.  The International Day of Peace was first celebrated in 1982. It is recognized by the United Nations. It has been declared by the United Nations General Assembly a day “devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.”

GD Goenka Public School organised VIGAM, the farewell ceremony for the outgoing Class XII batch, on 9 January 2026, hosted by the students of Grade XI. The event opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chairman Mr Sarvesh Goel, Director Ms Lalita Goel, Principal Dr Prerna Mitra, Director Ms Neha Goel GDGPS Mahanagar and Chief Coordinating Officer Ms Nandini Goel.
