International Peace Day:-
Each year International Peace Day is observed around the world on 21 September. As we all know peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding. Peace is all about living in harmony and not fighting with others. It emphasizes the importance of active listening, empathy, and non-violent communication.
The Day was celebrated on 21.9.23 by the students of GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow in true spirit. There were many kinds of fun-filled activities that engaged our little Goenkans.
Toddlers, Pre-nursery and Nursery- Little kids actively participated in making colourful peace plates and enjoyed playing with colours while hand printing art activity. These activities instilled in them the life skills of collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork.
K.G. Students were made aware of the importance of International Peace Day. Teachers demonstrated peace pinwheels and encouraged students to express their thoughts and feelings about peace.
Overall, it was an enriching experience for our students as they realized the importance of unity and peace and we are hopeful that our students will promote peace in all walks of their life.
