Janmashtami Celebrated:-

Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow on 17th August, 2022 with mirth and joy. The school premises were decorated beautifully and there was a spirit of festivity around.

MATKI PHOD ACT ADDS FERVOUR TO THE FESTIVAL

Little Goenkans of Classes Pre- Nursery to 2 came traditionally dressed up as Radha and Krishna and were looking very adorable. They performed beautiful dances and acts on the stage portraying instances from the childhood of Lord Krishna, which added dazzle to the celebration.

The Chairman of the school Mr. Sarvesh Goel was the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion. ‘Matki Phod’ act was the main highlight of the event, where Mr. Goel along with the children broke the matki to mark the tradition of this festival.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the day.
