Children Showed Strength in Lawn Tennis:-
A lawn tennis competition was organized on behalf of the CBSE school cluster at GD Goenka Public School on Friday. Under 17 and Under 19 quarter-final matches were held in Balak. Pre-quarter final matches were played in the girl’s section. The Chief Guest, Mr. Sarvesh Goel, Chairman, of GD Goenka School, said that sports contribute a lot to character building and the overall development of the students. More than 100 players including APS of Trinity World School, DAV Public Prayagraj, and Patna participated in the competition. During this CBSE, The Inspector of the Meerut and Dehradun sports area Dr. Anurag Khaitan was present.
The CBSE Cluster IV Table Tennis Championship concluded at GD Goenka Public School on Saturday. In the team event Sir Padmpat Singhania Education Center Kanpur (Boys U-14 & 17, Girls U-17), Delhi Public School Eldeco Lucknow (Boys U-19), Chikar International School Bareilly (Girls U-14), Gayatri Public School Agra ( Girls Under-19) stood first. The Chief Guest was Dr. Ram Shankar, Joint Director Training, CBSE, and Dr. Javed Alam Khan, Principal/Joint Director, Lucknow Public Collegiate.
