Soundarya Won the Gold:-

City sports Soundarya won the gold in Lucknow. Soundarya D Nair, a Class 11 student of GD Goenka Public School, won the gold medal in the TIA Open International Taekwondo Championship. The competition was organized at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, Kolkata from 19 to 21 December. Soundarya, representing the Indian Taekwondo Academy, won the gold medal in the poomse individual junior women (15-17 years) color belt category in this international tournament. The chairman of the school, Mr. Sarvesh Goel congratulated him on his achievement.

GD Goenka Public School organised VIGAM, the farewell ceremony for the outgoing Class XII batch, on 9 January 2026, hosted by the students of Grade XI. The event opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chairman Mr Sarvesh Goel, Director Ms Lalita Goel, Principal Dr Prerna Mitra, Director Ms Neha Goel GDGPS Mahanagar and Chief Coordinating Officer Ms Nandini Goel.
