Space Exploration Activity Conducted at GD Goenka School, Lucknow:

Little Hands, Big Dreams—Reaching for the Stars! GD Goenka Public School Lucknow organized an exciting “Space Exploration Activity” on December 9, 2025 for students from Nursery to Grade II. The event aimed to spark curiosity and creativity among young learners while helping them understand the wonders of space through engaging hands-on activities. Our little Toddlers joyfully created their own planets using sponge dabbers and forks, exploring textures and colours. The Nursery students made a shiny and creative moon using foil paper, learning about its surface and shape. The LKG children enthusiastically crafted colourful paper rockets, imagining their journey into space. The UKG students participated in a group activity where they explored the solar system, identifying planets and learning interesting facts about each one. Moving ahead, the Grade I students made an interactive moon phase slider, understanding how the moon changes its shape every night. Finally, the Grade II students showcased their knowledge by completing a worksheet on the solar system, reinforcing their concepts. The day was filled with fun, excitement, and learning. Through these activities, students not only enhanced their scientific understanding but also developed creativity and teamwork. The “Space Exploration” day truly ignited a sense of wonder about the universe among our young Goenkans.
