Student’s Felicitation Ceremony:-
Student’s felicitation ceremony held in GD Goenka Public School Lucknow. GD Goenka Public School always takes pride to acknowledge the achievements of its students in scholastic and co-scholastic spheres. A Felicitation Ceremony was held on 24 March 2023 in the School Auditorium for the meritorious students who have demonstrated excellence in academics and other spheres in the past year.
About 212 students from grad III- IX were invited to the school along with their parents to attend the Felicitation Ceremony which was held in two slots. In the first slot, the awards were given to students for All Round Performance and Academic Excellence by the Chief Guest District Magistrate Lucknow, Shri Surya Pal Gangwar, Chairman of the school, Mr. Sarvesh Goel, and Principal Dr. Prerna Mitra.
In the second slot, the occasion was graced by Shri Shalabh ManiTripathi, State Spokesperson, BJP as the Chief Guest, the Chairman Mr. Sarvesh Goel, the Principal, Dr. Prerna Mitra, and other dignitaries.
The Chief Guest was given a formal welcome which was followed by a song sung by the School Choir.
The students from grades III-XI were awarded in various categories after the welcome song. The Chief Guest gave away prizes in the following categories which students were awarded for Excellence in Sports, 100% Attendance, Upcoming Orator, Budding Artist, Maximum Improvement, Mentorship, Most Promising New Comer, Young Mathematician, Budding Scientist, and Creative Enthusiast.
After the award ceremony the Chief Guest Mr Shalabh Mani Tripathi addressed the students and said that they are fortunate to have opportunities in multiple fields and extracurricular activities. Earlier students were forced to only study and not engage in any other activity. Parents should be praised for having faith in their children and encouraging them to pursue their interests. He further praised the students of Uttar Pradesh for excelling despite socio-economic barriers.
Following the Chief Guest’s address the Chairman, Mr. Sarvesh Goel addressed the students and congratulated them for their achievements. He advised the students not to waste time or opportunity and instead work towards bringing honour and pride to society He advised the parents to not go by marks alone and appreciate all spheres of achievements of their wards.
