Students of GD Goenka Public School Lucknow Attend Vaicharik Samagam Organized by Head Quarters of UP-112:
The students of class 9 and 10 of GD Goenka School attended the ‘Vaicharik Samagam’, hosted by UP-112 Headquarters on September 7, 2024. It was a significant event focused on social initiatives and community engagement. RJ Rashi led the gathering, beginning with an introduction by Additional Director General (ADG) Mohini Pathak. ADG Pathak underscored the importance of the Public Relations Vehicle (PRV) and Community Policing in fortifying community-law enforcement relations and enhancing public safety.
Shahab Rasheed Khan presented a short film highlighting the “Ek Pahal” initiative, which aims to foster a safer, more connected community by addressing social issues. A traditional Nukkad Natak, or street play, followed, effectively portraying themes of social responsibility and cooperation.
ADG Neera Rawat delivered an impactful address on a campaign to promote positive social behavior, emphasizing collective efforts for ethical conduct and social harmony. DIG Satya Prakash Singh announced the launch of the “Ek Pahal” initiative, introducing its tagline “Ek Pradesh, Ek Number and Ek Pradesh” to signify statewide unity in tackling social challenges.
The event included a dynamic Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage with the speakers. GD Goenka students’ also asked several relevant questions related to women safety and social issues which were well answered by the officials present there.
ADG Mohini Pathak closed the event by summarizing key points, expressing gratitude, and reaffirming UP-112’s commitment to community welfare through innovative initiatives.
