Van Mahotsav Celebrated at Best CBSE School GD Goenka Public School:-

“The true meaning of life is to plant trees, Under whose shade you do not expect to sit.”

Van Mahotsav is an annual tree- plantation festival celebrated in the first week of July in India where millions of trees are planted on this beautiful day. The pre-schoolers of GD Goenka Public School, Mahanagar participated in a Fancy Dress where the Little ones were dressed up as different fruits, vegetables, and trees and expressed themselves on the benefits of afforestation and were enlightened on the demerits of deforestation. The pre-schoolers pledged to plant saplings in and around their nearby places and keep their environment safe and clean.

GD Goenka Public School organised VIGAM, the farewell ceremony for the outgoing Class XII batch, on 9 January 2026, hosted by the students of Grade XI. The event opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chairman Mr Sarvesh Goel, Director Ms Lalita Goel, Principal Dr Prerna Mitra, Director Ms Neha Goel GDGPS Mahanagar and Chief Coordinating Officer Ms Nandini Goel.
