LITERARY EVENT ‘ACADEMECIA’ FOR GOENKANS:-
Keeping the Goenkan ideologies in focus, this year a two-day Inter-Class competition ‘Academecia’ was held on February 6-7, 2023. GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow is a name synonymous with the overall development of the students and is providing many opportunities for the growth of self-motivated individuals in the multi-faceted world. GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow provide ample opportunities for the learners to outshine and enhance their skills and talents. Participation in ‘Academecia’ is one of the platforms provided to the students where they get early exposure to learning and competitions. Healthy competition stimulates students to do their best. When students compete, they become more confident and imbibe team spirit. These skills prepare children to face all future situations.
2-Day Inter-Class Competition:-
Keeping the Goenkan ideologies in focus, this year a two-day Inter-Class competition ‘Academecia’ was held on February 6-7, 2023. The potpourri of activities included Spell-Bee, Script Reading, Creative Writing (English and Hindi), General Knowledge Quiz, Hindi and English Storytelling, Mental Math, English, and Hindi Transcription, Poster Making, Hindi and English Recitation and Reading, Character Depiction, Shloka Recitation and Best out of waste. Students participated enthusiastically in the event. The desire and eagerness to achieve maximum were demonstrated by students and each participant showed spirited contribution. The performance of the gleaming Goenkans of class II was outstanding and they all displayed an overwhelming response.
The young participants captivated the judges and they appreciated their efforts, talent, and ability. It was indeed a proud moment both for the parents and the teachers to see their precious jewels completing an important phase of their educational journey from Pre-Primary and stepping ahead to a higher level. Principal Dr. Prerna Mitra appreciated the efforts of all the participants and congratulated the winners for their wonderful performance.
