‘Academecia’ – An Inter Class and Inter Section Competition:-
‘Academecia’ – An Inter Class and Inter Section Competition Galore, GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow is a name synonymous with the overall development of the students and is providing many opportunities for the growth of self-motivated individuals in the multi-faceted world. We at GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow provide ample opportunities to our learners to outshine and enhance their skills and talents. Participation in ‘’Academecia’’ is one of the platforms provided to our students where they get early exposure to learning & competitions. Healthy competition stimulates students to do their best. When students compete, they become more confident and imbibe team spirit.
Keeping the Goenkan ideologies in focus, an Inter-Class activity- ‘Academecia’ was held on 2 and 3 December 2021 in the school premises. The potpourri of activities included ‘Spell-Bee’, ‘Script Reading’, ‘Creative Writing’ (English & Hindi), ‘General Knowledge Quiz’, ‘Hindi and English Storytelling’, ‘Mental Math, Transcription Writing’ (English & Hindi), ‘Poster Making’, ‘Hindi and English Recitation’, ‘Character Depiction of eminent personalities’ and ‘Best out of waste’. Students of classes II A, B, C, and D participated enthusiastically in the event. The joy of students had no bound when they participated in all the competitions and showcased their academic talents and skills. The students displayed an overwhelming response as they worked together as a team.
The performance of the majority of the participants was of very high order particularly in the expression of self-accuracy in writing, script reading, and mathematical calculations, and reflective of joint efforts put up from all corners (students, parents, and teachers). It appeared that the students are all set to cross another milestone of transforming from Pre-Primary to Primary level of education. The students received extraordinary confidence and appreciation. The competition raised the bar of enthusiasm and talent at GDGPS.
The participants left no stone unturned to win the competitions. The judges were all praised for the immense talents showcased by each and every participant.
Principal, Ms. Raveen Pande appreciated the efforts of all the participants. She congratulated them for completing an important phase of their educational journey from Pre-Primary and getting ready to step ahead to a higher level.
