GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow organized an educational field trip to Harmony Park for Grade 3
On 11 February 2025, the students of Class III embarked on an exciting field trip to Harmony Park in Lucknow. The visit aimed to provide students with a fun-filled learning experience in a natural and musical environment.
Upon arrival, the children were greeted by the park’s serene landscapes and fascinating musical installations. The highlight of the visit was the interactive instruments placed throughout the park, which allowed the students to explore different sounds and rhythms. They enthusiastically played the xylophones, drums, and chimes, creating their own little melodies. The teachers encouraged them to observe the surroundings and discuss how music and nature can coexist beautifully.
After the activities, the students had a refreshing snack break in the shaded seating area. They also had time for free play, running around in the open green spaces and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Before leaving, the students participated in a short discussion, where they shared their favorite moments from the visit. Many of them expressed their excitement about the musical instruments and wished to return with their families.
The trip to Harmony Park was not only a fun outing but also an enriching educational experience. It helped the students develop an appreciation for music, nature, and creative expression. The day ended with happy faces, memorable experiences, and a newfound curiosity about the world of sounds.
