Annual Prize Distribution 2021-22 & Felicitation Ceremony Of Meritorious. Students Organised At Gd Goenka Public School Lucknow CBSE Secretary Shri Anurag Tripathi Presented The Awards To Students. The difference between ‘the dreamer’ and ‘the achiever’ is often the possession of one simple quality-persistence, and the ones who pursue their dreams with this quality ultimately achieve what they aspire for. To felicitate the outstanding students in academics, sports as well as co-curricular activities, the Annual Prize Day of GD Goenka Public School was held on Saturday, 26 March 2022.
The programme commenced with the welcoming of Mr. Anurag Tripath, Secretary, CBSE who was also the Chief
Guest for the occasion followed by the lightning of the lamp by the school Chairman, Mr. Sarvesh Goel, Principal Mrs
Raveen Pande and Mr Tripathi. A graceful and enticing choreography was presented by the school students,
thanking the Almighty by performing ‘Saraswati Vandana’.
The Chairman congratulated all the achievers and expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Guest for presiding over
the event. Mr. Anurag Tripathi then addressed everyone on this special occasion, congratulating all the meritorious
students and achievers in their fields. He, in particular, addressed the parents, suggesting they concentrate more
on their children’s mental health. He emphasized the inculcation of moral values, respect, humanity, and
sensitivity in today’s youth. He also stated that success is independent of academic excellence and could only be
achieved if the child learns life skills, portrays critical thinking, and practices humanity.
The prizes and awards were then given away by the Chief Guest to the outstanding performers in various categories
like Special Achievers and Meritorious Awards in academics. Around 179 awards were given away along with the
best outstanding student award, which went to Hina Naela of Class XII. Hina backed four awards in total, both for
academic excellence and co-curricular achievements. A fusion dance and a motivational song were presented by the school students to conclude the programme followed by a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest.
The felicitation ceremony was followed by an interactive session between Mr. Tripathi and the teachers. The
chief guest emphasized the children’s all-around development. He appealed to the teachers to implement the NEP in
their teaching process and ardently follow Bloom’s Taxonomy, innovate the assessment process and guide the
students to learn life skills. The interaction ended with questions put up by the teachers, which were answered by
the Chief Guest.
