The Blessing Ceremony 2023-2024 for class 12, a batch of 2023-24was organized at GD GoenkaPublic School, Lucknow on Friday, 02 February 2024. Teachers and students of class 12 assembled in the auditorium to celebrate an occasion that marked the end of a carefully supervised school life and the beginning of a new life in the ‘real world’. The ‘Blessing Ceremony’ brought together the academic community to receive the Chairman’s heartfelt blessings and guidance for the student’s future endeavors.
The ceremony commenced with the soulful rendition of the School Song by the school choir. This was followed by the presentation of a slideshow of a medley of magical memories that marked their years spent in school, giving the students and their teachers a fascinating flashback of their school journey.
In a poignant address, the Chairman of the school Mr. Sarvesh Goel shared words of wisdom, urging students to view challenges as opportunities for growth. His blessings extended beyond academic success, embracing personal development and resilience. The Chairman’s words resonated as a compass for navigating the journey ahead. This was followed by a photo session of all class XII students with the Chairman, Principal, and teachers. The ‘Blessing Ceremony’ was probably a moment of mixed feelings for the students. Many looked sad at the prospect of leaving behind their ‘second home’, yet there was a feeling of excitement at the thought of exploring the world that awaits them.
