Book distribution Goenkan:
A team of class X students from Best CBSE School Lucknow GD Goenka Public School participated in a book distribution programme on Thursday, 26 July 2018.
As a part of the noble cause, the students visited an NGO, Sarthak Foundation and handed out books to children hailing from the poor economic background and wished them the best for their future.
Sarthak Foundation, a nonprofit organization is working at the grassroots level providing free and quality education to deprived children who cannot afford it.
In a country where books of any kind are hard to come by, an event like this is a joyous occasion. This book distribution provides teachers and schools with the critical resources they need to teach, motivate, and inspire their students’ learning and reading.
The smiles were big and the enthusiasm contagious as the students received the books. “These books will be a great addition to our community,” they said. For the teachers and students in these communities, it will be a year filled with books, learning, and new experiences.
Goenkan students shared their experience and said that they were happy to be part of such an initiative and make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children and enjoyed interacting with the students at the NGO.
Students thanked the members of Sarthak Foundation for making them a part of the initiative and expressed their desire to conduct such activities even in future.
