Campaign About Coronavirus:
Schools have launched a campaign to two tires masses about precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The initiative comes in wake of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s appeal to educational institutions to spread awareness on the issue.
A session on precautionary measures was organized at GD Goenka Public School Lucknow, on Friday. It was conducted by Dr PK Das, an eminent doctor from Lohia Hospital.
Students were informed that coronavirus is a respiratory infection, which causes flu-like symptoms including fever, dry cough, sore throat and pain in muscles. They were advised to immediately consult a doctor, if any of these symptoms are seen, that principal Raveen Pande.
A list of dos and don’ts was shared with the student to help reduce the risk and possible spread of the virus. Students were asked to maintain 1-meter distance from people suffering from cough or cold, use anti-bacterial hand sanitizers, wash their hands frequently, avoid touching their face and eyes, eat home-cooked food and use mask, if required.
Students were also suggested to read a very meaningful comic on ‘COVID 19 Awareness’ published by the health ministry. Meanwhile, other educational institutions also launched awareness drives on their campuses.
