Commemorating the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, GD Goenka Public School celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm today, engaging students from all classes, ranging from Nursery to Class 12, in various sporting activities.

Janmashtami is a grand festival celebrated all over India to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, who is believed to be the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

GD Goenka Public School in Lucknow marked the 78th Independence Day with vibrant celebrations, including a flag hoisting, patriotic songs, and a thought-provoking speech by the Chief Guest. The event highlighted the importance of unity, freedom, and education in nation-building.

With this thought in mind GD Goenka Public School Lucknow celebrated ‘Friendship Day’ on 03 August 2024. To celebrate this occasion with great fervour, our Pre-Nursery to Grade II students were engaged in various inclusive activities that encouraged students to come together and celebrate the spirit of friendship.
