Children’s Day was Celebrated:-

Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November as the day marks the birth anniversary of the freedom fighter and  India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The motive for celebrating Children’s Day on Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday is because of his love and affection for the children. The Prime Minister, commonly known as Chacha Nehru among children, considered children the real strength of a nation and the foundation of society.

Children’s Day was celebrated with lots of fun and enthusiasm at Best CBSE GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow on 12 November 2021, as an attempt to make the day special for children. The day’s atmosphere was quite different from any other day. Fun races and games were organized during the day for the children. Different races for different classes like Hula hoop race, hockey goal race, sack race, match the ball, build and destroy were planned out by the teachers. Games like Up-down (memory game), Target the ball and Balancing a book were planned. Children brought their favourite snacks in their tiffin and enjoyed the day with full excitement.
