CLAT News Shivangi Mishra, a student of GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow was happy with her AIR-49 in her first attempt. “Technical snag caused a lot of chaos during exams. However, I gave my best and finished the test on time and also respect the court’s decisions as nobody is above court and law,” said Shivangi who got 137 marks out of 200.
CLAT News Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the most coveted of all the law entrances in India after Class XII. CLAT journey started in 2008 and today more than 40,000 students write the entrance every year to secure a seat in one of the participating National Law University including NLSIU Bangalore-the Harvard of the East.
Several petitions that sought quashing of the examinations over alleged inconsistencies and technical glitches were filed in various high courts across the country and the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court rejected the plea for cancellation and re-test on Wednesday.
