Dandiya Nite 2018:

Dandiya Nite 2018 event organized at Gd Goenka Public School Lucknow. Sarvesh Goel, associated with the event, explains that Navaratri is a festival of love and harmony. People celebrate it with colorful clothes. Guests joining in Dandiya have also been specifically requested to come in traditional costumes to show traditionality in Dandiya and Garba.

The highlights of the event were singers Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur who mesmerized the audience with feet-tapping numbers.  The scintillating Bollywood Gujarati music had the audience on their toes all through the night. All were enjoying the special Gujarati dance item until the last beat of the music. The gorgeous ladies all decked up for the evening and the men in their best attire danced to the tunes of the songs sung by the great singers. The children whose excitement knew no bounds too kept tapping their feet on the melodious numbers. The lip-smacking food at the crowded stalls was another zone of attraction. From rolls, pizzas, Chinese items to the famous Lakhnavi chat and many more delicious items could be relished in this food court. The other stalls had Kurtis, sarees and other miscellaneous goodies straight from Gujarat. The ambiance was also created by a village scene which added fervor to the festivity and reflected the vibrant culture of Gujarat.
