DM LUCKNOW SHRI VISHAK G ENGAGES IN AN INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH GD GOENKA SCHOOL STUDENTS:
On Friday 16 May 2025, the District Magistrate of Lucknow, Mr Vishak G visited GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow as part of an educational initiative. The visit commenced with a warm welcome by the chairman, Mr Sarvesh Goel, Principal Dr Prerna Mitra, and the students.
The DM Mr Vishak G addressed the students of classes XI and XII in a special session, emphasizing the importance of education, discipline, and civic responsibility. He gave valuable inputs on how students can cope with pressure of exams, and that they should not succumb to peer pressure while choosing future career options as they should not be in a hurry to make career choices. Students must realise that learning never stops as class XII is just a landmark in their educational journey.
He also guided them on spiritualty and mental health and advised students to have some extracurricular interests to de-stress and also enhance overall personality. Learning to be a part of the team is equally important to work in any organisation. The DM advised the students to remain focused while maintaining a balance between academics and co -curricular activities.
Thereafter the DM addressed questions raised by the students. The visit concluded with a vote of thanks.
Overall, the visit was highly fruitful and left a positive impact on the student community.
