Eid-ul-Milad Celebration:-
Eid-ul-Milad Celebration at GD Goenka Public School Lucknow. Festivals are celebrated so that people can honor traditions set by their ancestors and continue the traditions for years to come. A festival is also a way for families and friends to get together and spread the message of happiness, peace, and brotherhood amongst all.
To spread happiness, and brotherhood amongst young Goenkans, GD Goenka Public school, Lucknow celebrated Eid-ul-Milad on 6th October 2022. The young minds of the school celebrated the birthday of Prophet Mohammad with love and respect. The students were shown a PowerPoint Presentation on the festival to understand the spirit of the festival.
The young Goenkans of Pre-Nursery made greeting cards from vegetable cutouts to wish their friends and family, this activity also improved their fine motor skills. The children of Grade Nursery made placards of Eid Mubarak with ice cream sticks. The young ones of KG brought kheer from home to share with their friends and they made Eid cards to wish their friends. This activity developed the feeling of sharing among them. The students of Grade I spoke a few lines on Eid. They shared why and how we celebrate the festival. The Grade II students did a crossword puzzle at the festival. The keywords about the festival were used in the puzzle. It was a fun-filled activity for the students.
