ADVENTURE AND EXCITEMENT MARK ‘THE WINTER CAMP’ ORGANISED AT GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL LUCKNOW:-

Adventure is worthwhile in itself. It is the best way to learn, to find, to begin, and to have fun.

 

Experience of Camping, On 04 and 05 February 2023, a ‘Winter Day Camp’ was organized for classes Pre-Nursery to Grade 5, and a ‘Winter Night Camp’ was organized for classes 6 to 8  in GD Goenka Public School Lucknow, to give the students a feel of the live adventure activities and experience of camping.

It was an enjoyable camp initiated and managed by ‘The Climb Up’ company. There were many amazing activities like Zorb Roller, Rope Ladder, Trampoline, Tent Pitching, Zip Line, Commando Net, Tyre Tower, Rope Walk, Wall Climbing, and Hopscotch. Children participated under the supervision of trained instructors and teachers and their thrill and excitement were beyond words.

The bright sunny day kept all the children engaged. At night, the students enjoyed the bonfire and treasure hunt-like activities. It was an altogether different feeling for the children, staying away from home and family and spending a winter night in a tent under the starry sky.

The students enjoyed it to the hilt and though they were exhausted, the urge to have more joy seemed never-ending. The camp concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners in different activities. This camp gave great exposure to the children and a platform to be more confident and self-reliant.

We are sure that the tans will fade but the memories of this camp will last forever.
