On Sunday 20 th June 2021, the students from the Primary section (Class III–V), of GD Goenka Public School Lucknow, celebrated Father’s Day. The school continued to foster the importance of relationships and family values through various delightful and insightful activities.
From the wee hours of the morning the kitchens were buzzing with the enthusiastic young chefs, who left no stone unturned, to groove up a few tasty and healthy dishes for their dad. Under adult supervision, the kids cooked, baked, fried and soon the tables were laden with delectable dishes. As they spooned the delicacies on their fathers’ plates they explained in detail how they had prepared the dishes and its health benefits.
After the lavish breakfast the kids prepared to treat their dad with a head massage. A relaxing ambience was recreated as fathers’ rejuvinated and basked under all the love and attention. Handcrafted colourful cards and cookie jars made the day even more special.
As the kids reached out to make their fathers feel extra special, the mothers captured the memorable moments on camera.
The celebration and the spirits of young students are not dampened during these unprecedented times, as was evident from the way they celebrated Father’s Day, depicting their unending love and gratitude for their father.
