Field Trips to the Gandhi Museum :
Field trips gives student educational experience away from their regular school environment. GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow believes that activity-based learning is important to place the gap between education and hands-on experience. For this purpose, a field trip to the Gandhi museum was organized on July 31st, 2019 for the student of grade VII. The idea was to acquaint the students with the life and the great work of M. K. Gandhi popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi museum offered an opportunity to witness the display of a rich collection of original relics, letters and correspondence all belonging to the Father of the nation.
Each picture has an interesting talk narrate. Visiting Gandhi museum was a touching experience for the students. whey was moved they got to see the place where Gandhi was shot dead. They learned about Gandhi’s principles such as “Unity is a strength” “Satyagraha” and “Truth and Non-Violence”. A peep into this great Mahatma life surely inspired the students as well as the teachers. This memorable visit to the Gandhi museum was a novel, enriching an enjoyable experience.
