‘LIGHTTASTIC’- FREESTYLE DANCE ACTIVITY CONDUCTED AT GD GOENKA CAMBRIDGE:-

Freestyle dancing is the one where the dancers do not plan or choreograph their motions beforehand and there is no rehearsal routine. All the movements are decided intuitively and at the moment, creating an original dance experience. Rocking to the rhythm, the students of class I and II of GD Goenka Cambridge, Lucknow actively participated in the freestyle dance session on 25 April 2023. As the name ‘Lighttastic’ signifies that the children performed the dance moves effortlessly. This amazing session helped them vent out all their stress and made them feel relaxed.

Children tapped their feet on grooving beats and they were eager to learn a beautiful art form that kept them enthralled. It was a good way to keep them physically fit and engaged and was the best way to channel their dynamic energy. It also helped them strengthen their body awareness, rhythm, balance, and stamina, which worked seamlessly with the understanding of the music.
