On Monday, GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow, joyfully celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi, engaging students in eco-friendly festivities. The celebrations took place in individual classes, where young learners showcased their creativity by crafting clay idols of Lord Ganesha. The event emphasized the importance of environmental consciousness while honoring tradition.
LKG students expressed their artistic talents by creating Lord Ganesha figures on A4 sheets using clay, while UKG students shaped “Mushaks” (Lord Ganesha’s companions) out of playdough. The students of Grades 1 and 2 further demonstrated their creativity by sculpting intricate 3D representations of Lord Ganesha using playdough.
This celebration not only allowed students to explore their creativity but also taught them about the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi in a meaningful and eco-friendly way. GD Goenka continues to integrate cultural values with modern education, ensuring the holistic development of its students.
