GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL LUCKNOW ORGANISES WINTER CARNIVAL ‘LA JOIE DE VIVRE-VIVA LA VIDA’:-
Fun Combined with Learning: Learn, Adapt, Evolve the NEP Way
The two days annual Winter Carnival ‘La Joie de Vivre-Viva La Vida’ orgaised at GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow, was a vibrant celebration of education and creativity. Centered around the NEP theme, the event showcased art-integrated learning through engaging performances, exhibitions, and a festive fete.
The Guest of Honour for the event was Mr Suryansh Sehgal, Director GD Goenka Public School, Sitapur, who while addressing the audience, applauded the efforts and performances of the students. He appeared enchanted with the showcase of talents of the young Goenkans. He was welcomed by the Chairman of GD Goenka School Lucknow Mr Sarvesh Goel and Principal Dr Prerna Mitra.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp. The Edutainment Extravaganza featured stunning student performances such as Cultural Fiesta, Savanna Beats, Nazariya Badlo street play, and Rang-e-Riwayat, blending culture, innovation, and entertainment. Exhibitions displayed student projects reflecting creativity across subjects, while sports activities promoted teamwork and fitness.
Numerous students showcased their talents through incredible and attractive performances. While some engaged in interactive activities, others mesmerized the audience with enchanting music. The aroma of delicious food wafted through the air, increasing everyone’s appetite. Attractive rides brought out the child in both children and parents.
The carnival also brought families together with interactive workshops, games, and stalls, fostering community spirit. The event concluded with a lively flash mob, leaving attendees inspired.
The principal, Dr Prerna Mitra said that the annual festival of the school this year was not only a source of entertainment but also a platform for students to showcase their talents. The event filled the school environment with positivity and energy. It helped to instil confidence and a sense of cooperation among students. The festival also provided an opportunity for students to recognize and showcase their hidden talents while showcasing the power of art-integrated education and its potential to provide holistic development and enrich students’ educational experiences.
The Chairman of the school Mr Sarvesh Goel appeared overwhelmed looking at the hardwork and talent of students. He appreciated wholeheartedly the creativity, knowledge, uniqueness and innovativeness showed by the teachers and students in preparing the science models and art exhibits and congratulated the entire team for putting up such a magnum opus show so successfully. He also shared the recent and prominent achievements of the school with the parents and other stakeholders.
The Winter Carnival stood as a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic education, empowering young minds to thrive in a dynamic world.
