“Spooky fun, happy hearts – Halloween is where learning meets laughter!”
GD Goenka Public School reverberated with excitement as students from the Toddler to Grade 2 joined together to celebrate the enchantment of Halloween. By noon, the campus was a kaleidoscope of Halloween spirit, with the noisiest tots joined by imaginative Grade II scholars.
At GD Goenka Public School, a special Halloween set was created in the theatre, where children gleefully clicked pictures to capture their spooky memories. The excitement continued through engaging craft activities, with each class contributing something unique. Toddlers showcased their cuteness through adorable paper ghosts, while Nursery children worked together on a vibrant Halloween banner. LKG students crafted cheerful Jack-o’-Lanterns, and UKG students displayed their creativity with black paper bats. Moving ahead, Class I designed imaginative Halloween Pumpkin faces, and Class II students created colourful paper roll crafts. Together, these artworks transformed classrooms into a delightful gallery of spooky yet cheerful decorations
Adding to the thrill, Nursery and LKG students came dressed in creative Halloween attire—from tiny witches and friendly ghosts to superheroes and pumpkins! They also brought their favourite snacks, sharing them joyfully with friends.
Teachers explained the significance of Halloween in a positive and child-friendly way, highlighting the values of sharing, creativity, and joy. Students understood that festivals are not only about costumes and treats but also about celebrating togetherness.
The day concluded with laughter, cheers, and unforgettable memories. Truly, at GD Goenka school even ghosts and goblins know how to have a fang-tastic time!
