Give An Informative Presentation On Organic Farming
Grade 1 & 2 Students Of Gd Goenka School Lucknow Present ‘class Ki Baat’
GD Goenka Public School Lucknow has organized a class presentation, performed by the students of Grade I and II on 12th September, 2024. The theme of the presentation was “Be Organic”.
The programme was a creative and engaging initiative that aimed to educate our students about the importance of organic living. The program consisted of a series of activities, including a skit, poem recitation, role play, and nukkad natak (street play).
The programme started with a prayer, pledge, word for the day, thought of the day and was concluded with the school song.
The skit, performed by Grade 1 students, showcased the benefits of organic farming and reducing plastic waste. They also performed on importance of external and internal organs through a skit. They also did recitation on importance of farmers through a song in Hindi and English languages. A skit on healthy food and balanced diet was exhibited in a skit.
Students of Grade I shared few interesting facts about food. A riddle game was played with parents to involve them.
Grade 2 students recited a poem on importance of a farmer and also taking care of the environment. They beautifully sang a song ‘Jai Kisan’. Students performed Nukkad Natak on farmers, which was concluded with a tribute dance to the farmers. A roleplay on Nouns in Hindi was performed along with a captivating play on Story ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’.
All students actively participated in the programme, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. Students demonstrated a good understanding of the concepts and themes presented.
The program was concluded by encouraging words by our Principal Dr Prerna Mitra. The performance of our young minds was highly appreciated by her.
Few parents also shared their experience and their ward’s success stories.
The audience, comprising of parents and teachers, was engaged and appreciative of the students’ efforts. The programme received a positive feedback for its creative approach in educating students about organic living. It encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices and make eco-friendly choices in their daily lives.
The “Be Organic” program was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation and creativity of our young Goenkans. It served as a valuable learning experience, promoting awareness and encouraging sustainable practices among young minds.
