GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL CELEBRATES GRANDPARENT’S DAY:-
Grandparents Day are the family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, The greatest storytellers, and the keepers of tradition. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them, Best CBSE GD Goenka Public School Lucknow celebrated Grandparent’s Day on 30th October 2021.
We took this opportunity to express the love and respect towards the elderly people in the society and also to model this culture in children. Students from grade Pre-Nursery to grade 2 celebrated the day by talking about their grandparents with their teachers. Little ones of pre-Nursery- Kindergarten made a beautiful card with a hand impression on it. Along with it, students of kindergarten also shared pictures of them helping their grandparents and talking to them over video calls. Students of grade 1 made a wall hanging for their grandparents and wrote a cute message on it. Students of grade 2 wrote an acrostic poem on a card and presented it to their grandparents that made them so happy.
It was an incredible moment for grandparents to witness so much love from their grandchild.
