Ikebana activity at GD Goenka:
As a part of the inner house at GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow organized Ikebana activity Week in which students learn about it art form about and the persons who create them. There was Four Team in each class, from class 3, 4 and 5 each representing their houses. The motives of this competition were to introduce a variety of flowers to the students giving the competition Tagore house come first or Radhakrishnan house second and Vivekananda house third.
Ikebana, or Japanese flower arrangement art, has been celebrated for thousands of years. Not only is the Ikebana identified as a real art form, but it is also performed and celebrated all over the globe today. Your kid will learn more about this unique tradition by artfully arranging some spring flowers!
The students enthusiastically took part in the competition and their knowledge about the flowers was incredible. The participants arranged the vibrant, colorful and fragrant flowers in different aesthetic ways. One could not miss the interesting captions added to the arrangements. It was a beautiful display of creativity, symmetry and blend of colors. The criteria of judgment were creativity, relevance to theme, neatness, innovation and overall presentation. All the houses gave each other a tough competition.
