‘INAYAT’ Conducts Woollen Donation Drive:-
Former GD Goenka student Nandini Goel’s NGO ‘INAYAT’ conducts woollen donation drive. To reach a destination, the journey has to begin by taking the first step; small efforts lead to big changes and with this thought in mind and spark in heart, Nandini Goel, an alumnus of GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow, initiated project ‘INAYAT’ in the year 2021. The NGO focuses primarily on improving the level of education, employment, and healthcare in society, with an added responsibility of protecting and conserving the environment through campaigns targeted towards slowing down climate change.
In its maiden project, ‘Inayat’, the NGO led by Nandini Goel, a former student of GD Goenka Public School Lucknow, launched the ‘Rakhi Initiative’ in the month of July to provide economic support to the underprivileged. Radhikapur and Raipur villages were identified for this activity.
This time, when the winter season is at its peak, in consonance with the objectives of the NGO, Nandini Goel, the founder of ‘Inayat’ conducted a donation drive on Friday, 31 December 2021, in Dahiramau, Baburikhera, Radhikapur, and Raipur villages, which come under Gosainganj area, to help the needy.
More than 150 woollen shawls were distributed to the residents of these villages to help them combat intense winters. In addition, a toy donation drive was also organized to bring smiles to the faces of young ones. Hundreds of soft toys were also handed over to the children living in these areas. It was an absolute delight to see the beam of happiness on their faces and their parents were overjoyed too, seeing their children giggling and cuddling their newly acquired possession.
Such activities are a small effort towards bringing positive changes in society and making a difference in someone’s life. We rightly believe, the action was taken for a good cause always garners support from all walks of life, and this initiative of Nandini Goel will soon turn into a big movement in the direction of elevating the socio-economic and educational standard of the desired section of the society.
