Inter House Mock Trail:

Inter house mock trial competition was organized at GD Goenka Public School Lucknow for Grades IX to XII in two rounds from 27th July to 8th August 2018.
Mock trial is a Moot courtroom scene played by the students which help them to inculcate critical thinking, analytical and reasoning skills. It has the added benefits of causing students to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate; to develop listening skills, and to gain confidence in public speaking. It also generates awareness among the students about the present civil and criminal laws of the country. 

The Inter-house competition had two cases one of civil in nature fought between Teresa House and Radhakrishna House whereas the other one of criminal nature fought between Tagore House and Vivekanand House. The students exhibited a great deal of maturity during the proceedings of the case and gave an outstanding performance. The students showcased excellent communication skills, convincing abilities and an eye for details.
The winner of the Inter-House Mock Trial competition is Teresa house. Apra of class XII A from Radhakrishna House was awarded best Attorney and Sapragya of class XII A from Tagore House was given the best witness award. Similar efforts in different shapes and ways will continue in GD Goenka for making our students outshine the others.
