On August 28, GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow, hosted an inter-house ‘Shark Tank’ competition, inspired by the popular television show. The event provided a platform for students from Classes XI and XII to present their innovative business ideas to a panel of judges, helping them gain insights into entrepreneurship and real-world problem-solving.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses, with each team presenting creative solutions, ranging from tech-driven innovations to eco-friendly products. The level of creativity and understanding of market needs displayed by the students was remarkable.
The event included a Q&A session, where participants interacted with the judges, who acted as “sharks,” and the audience, offering insightful feedback. After careful deliberation, Vivekanand House emerged as the winner of the competition, with Radhakrishnan and Tagore Houses securing second and third positions, respectively. Radhakrishnan House was awarded for the most innovative idea, while Vivekanand House bagged the prize for best responses.
This competition highlighted the school’s focus on nurturing entrepreneurial skills and encouraging out-of-the-box thinking among students, further strengthening GD Goenka’s reputation as the best CBSE school in Lucknow.
