GD Goenka Public School Celebrated “International Joke Day”:-
International Joke Day is observed on July 1 st of every year and is a day meant to spread joy and cheer through jokes and funny activities. It is celebrated to spread laughter around. Such a day is really the need of the hour because amid the pandemic, the world is a lot worried now than it was ever before. Stress and lack of physical activities have made people dull, so we all need a pause to give ourselves “Moments to laugh”.
They say that laughter is the best medicine, and a lot of people would agree with this! After all, there are actually a lot of health benefits that are associated with laughing. Laughter draws people together in a manner that triggers healthy emotional and physical changes in the body. Laughter can help to protect you from the damaging impact of stress, diminish pain, boost mood, and strengthen your immune system. Nothing workers more dependably or quicker to bring your body and mind back into balance than a good old laugh.
To refresh little minds, GD Goenka Public School celebrated International Joke Day in a laughter-filled manner. The students of pre-primary section watched funny videos which left them giggling and happy. Teachers cracked some hilarious jokes and encouraged little jokesters to share a joke as well.
