On 13th August 2025, the entire school radiated joy and devotion as students celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami, commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna. The campus was adorned with vibrant decorations — colourful buntings, flowers, and images of Krishna that instantly set a festive mood. The celebration began with creative craft activities that beautifully combined art with tradition.
Our Nursery and Toddler children enthusiastically made bright and cheerful paper matkis, their tiny hands carefully pasting patterns and adding colours. LKG students showcased their creativity through delicate and eye-catching peacock feathers, symbolising the elegance of Krishna’s crown. UKG children designed ornate bandhanvaars to bring a festive charm, while Grade 1 students took part in matki decoration, using paints, glitter, and embellishments to create stunning pieces. Grade 2 students demonstrated their skills by making paper flutes, the beloved instrument of Lord Krishna, adding a musical touch to the celebration.
The spirit of festivity then moved to the auditorium, where the atmosphere became even more lively and vibrant. The stage came alive with performances that captured the innocence and playfulness of little Krishna. Nursery students delighted the audience with their adorable dance on “Aao Natkhat Nandlala”, and brought energy and excitement with their performance on “Hururu”, keeping the audience engaged. Grade 2 students beautifully depicted the charm of Krishna’s childhood through their graceful presentation of “Gokul Ki Galiyon Mein”, transporting everyone to the bustling lanes of Vrindavan.
The programme concluded on a deeply devotional note with the entire gathering joining in the soulful “Shree Krishna Govind Hare Murari” aarti. The rhythmic clapping, melodious chanting, and glowing smiles on the children’s faces created a divine and heartwarming atmosphere. It was more than just a celebration — it was an experience where creativity, culture, and spirituality blended seamlessly. Every child went home with not just their handcrafted creations, but also with a deeper understanding of the values of love, joy, and devotion that Lord Krishna’s life represents.
