GD GOENKA STUDENTS’ ARYAN AGARWAL AND ATHARV AGARWAL EXEMPLARY ACHIEVEMENT

QUALIFY FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS KISHORE VAIGYANIK PROTSAHAN YOJNA (KVPY) 2021-22

Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has announced the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana Aptitude Test (KVPY) result 2021-22, and two of the GD Goenka students Aryan Agarwal, Class XII, academic session 2021-22 and Atharv Agarwal, Class XII, academic session 2022-23, have brought laurels to the school by getting selected for the prestigious Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) 2021-22.

The students secured good rankings in the recently announced results, where Atharv Agarwal achieved All India Ranking (AIR) 607 in SA Stream for class XI and Aryan Agarwal attained AIR 1473 in SX Stream for class XII.

KVPY is a scholarship programme funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences. It offers scholarships and contingency grants up to the pre-Phd level to selected students.

It is indeed a very proud moment for the parents and school as every year lakhs of students apply for KVPY and a few thousand get selected under the programme.

The hard work and outstanding performance of Aryan and Atharv Agarwal have not only brought glory to schools but have also opened new avenues of success for them.
