MASTER CLASS FOR CAMBRIDGE SCHOOLS ORGANISED AT GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL LUCKNOW:-
In today’s educational landscape, teacher training programs have become increasingly important as educators face challenges in identifying and bridging gaps to enhance students’ performance. GD, Goenka Public School has always been a pioneer in introducing the best teaching pedagogies, learning techniques, and continuous development of students to make them competent, confident, and self-reliant. For this continuous growth and development, one more enriching and engaged training session was organized by GDGPS, Lucknow on 21 March 2024 for the teachers, principals, admission, and career counselors of different Cambridge Schools. The expertise, Ms. Shamim Chowdhary Regional Manager, Recognition & Policy South Asia, Cambridge International Education, and Ms. Prachi Mehta, Manager, North India Territory commenced the enriching and detailed Cambridge curriculum session that was attended by more than 40 teachers from different schools across the state.
The primary focus of the training was to give comprehensive and thorough exposure to the Cambridge Curriculum. The course focused on introducing all the essential aspects of the Cambridge Curriculum, which included the Cambridge Pathway, the role of assessments, teaching and learning the Cambridge Way, highlighting a detailed elucidation of Cambridge College and career readiness, etc. The spotlight was entirely on introducing all the essential aspects of reflective, differentiating, and active learning, preparing students for life- helping them to develop an informed curiosity and lasting passion for learning. The workshop was very informative, and educative, and enlightened the teachers on major aspects of the Cambridge Curriculum, the availability of updated resources for teachers and students, the Students’ Alumni from learners across the globe, analytical and creative thinking, employability skills, and flexibility in courses.
