GD GOENKA SCHOOL ORGANISES A SPLENDID FAREWELL FOR THE OUTGOING CLASS XII BATCH 2022-23:-

One of the most bittersweet moments of a student’s life was lived by the students of class XII in GD Goenka Public school as the school bid a fond farewell to the outgoing batch of 2022-23, today on 06 February 2023. With a heavy heart, the school teachers and junior students relived the memories of the years they have spent with the class XII batch of 2023 in GD Goenka Public School Lucknow.
As customary, the Farewell Ceremony started with lighting the lamp to spread the light of wisdom and blessings by the Chairman of the school, Mr Sarvesh Goel. Mr Goel also praised the students for their all-around efforts along with proper concentration on academics in his benedictory speech. He further said that it is the right time for the students to realise their dreams with earnest and sincere efforts. Class XI students of the school presented a plethora of scintillating performances including singing, dancing and quizzes one after the other. The event in no way lacked the fervour and energy of the tradition. The school Principal Dr Prerna Mitra congratulated the students for their flawless presence throughout the year and blessed them for their future endeavours. Dr Mitra also conveyed her best wishes to the students for their upcoming board exams.
The confidence of the students of class XII was exhibited in full zeal as they walked on the ramp in style and exuberance. The students were given titles as a token of appreciation for their performances and indulgence in the school activities. The second round of the ramp was filled with interesting leadership questions put by the Jury members Ms Sonia Mathai, Mr Daud Akhtar, Ms Zuha Hussain and Ms Rekha Mehan. Karan Agarwal from the Commerce stream, who also happens to be the Head Boy of the school and Hamna Iqbal of the Science stream won the Question-Answer round and were declared ‘Mr Goenka’ and ‘Miss Goenka’ respectively. Muskan Agarawal was selected ‘Miss Congeniality’ and Chaitanya Sidharth was selected ‘Mr Congenial’ for their overall demeanour. Astha Rao was chosen as ‘Miss Smart Outfit’ and Kirtivardhan was selected as ‘Mr Well Dressed’. Sikhsha Mishra and Abhimanyu Srivastava were declared Mr and Miss Popular.
The teachers, along with the Principal showered blessings and sanctified the students for their board examination and future ventures.
