The Mother’s Day Celebration at GD Goenka Public School, held on May 9, 2025, was a grand and heartwarming affair that radiated immense enthusiasm and love. Students from Toddler to Grade 2 participated in a range of creative and meaningful activities to express their deep affection and appreciation for their mothers. Toddler and Nursery students showcased their creativity by crafting adorable paper crowns for their mothers.LKG children added a splash of colour and joy by making beautiful tissue paper flowers.UKG students demonstrated their artistic talent by designing exquisite handmade flowers using vibrant sheets and a touch of imagination. Their creations symbolized the blooming love and care that mothers embody, making each flower a heartfelt tribute.Grade 1 students adopted a more personalized approach by crafting handmade keychains as gifts for their mothers. These charming tokens were made with care, patience, and affection. Grade 2 students worked on a specially designed worksheet that prompted them to express their thoughts, feelings, and cherished memories about their mothers.
Students from Nursery to UKG also prepared a special dance for their mothers, adding an element of joy and celebration to the day.
At dispersal time, the school witnessed a heart-touching moment as children handed over their handcrafted tokens of love to their mothers when they came to pick them up. The celebration turned out to be an unforgettable experience for all.
